... It seems to me that this is the bug I had (locking kernel at boot,
I have an ATI RAGE IIC board), and that Philipp Rumpf (look at the Cc:
list for the email) has ironed out. Now I have no time to test his
latest/greatest patches, but probably some of you can help him.
