Hi, just tested the 2.1.124-p1 and was not able to boot (AMD-6-2/300)
because the kernel loops withing the folowing error (perhaps waited no
long enough).

With 2.1.123 i get:
CPU: AMD K6-2 (PR233 - PR333)
Checking 386/387 coupling... OK, FPU using exception 16 error reporting.

But with 2.1.124-pre1 (from memory):
CPU: AMD K6-2 (PR233 - PR333)
Checking 386/387 coupling... <3>387 failed: trying to reset
387 failed: trying to reset
387 failed: trying to reset
387 failed: trying to reset
387 failed: trying to reset
<snip>

I changed nothing in the config, perhaps relevant:
CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL=y
CONFIG_M686=y
CONFIG_MTRR=y
CONFIG_MODULES=y
CONFIG_MODVERSIONS=y
CONFIG_KMOD=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_VIA82C586=y

Argh! All right, so how am I supposed to work with Linux when
everything's already been done?! Can't these people leave some
broken MSDOS like parts so there's problems left to solve!?....
