After I could fix kmod.c I get another error message in process.c: gcc
-D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.1.97/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -D__SMP__ -pipe -fno-strength-reduce
-m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686
-D__SMP__ -c -o process.o process.c
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:436: Error: operands given don't match any known 386
instruction
make[1]: *** [process.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.1.97/arch/i386/kernel'
make: *** [linuxsubdirs] Error 2
I am using egcs 1.0.2 and binutils 2.9.0.3
