I am setting up FreeS/WAN for the first time, and am a bit unsure
whether I need to recompile my kernel. I have a network behind the
firewall that has several hosts that are assigned addresses in the
10.x.x.x private range. I want to allow travelling users access to
these hosts.

The firewall has a static IP address on eth0 connected to the internet.
eth1 has an address from the 10.x.x.x range and is connected to the
local network. Masquerading and port forwarding are up and working
fine.

Do I need to recompile the redhat 2.2.17-14 kernel to use frees/wan?

TIA - Jim
