Hello Michael,

I am trying to test your ftp-data patch but cannot seem to get it to work
correctly. I have created the ftp-data chain, but it still does not seem to
activate the code. I have tried both versions of your patch, and yet I still
cannot activate. I am testing on kernel 2.2.5 with ipchains 1.3.8.

For testing, I have tried to send all packets destined and arriving to/from port
21 and 20 to the ftp-data chain(for your 2nd patch), and for the first, I have
simply created the rule. I have also tried your testing chains you provided in
the ipchains mailing list but still no luck.

Can you give me some possible causes/solutions to this?

Thanks alot,

Brian Dawson
