Have a look also at KDE's office suite called K Office. It's still under
development, but they have snapshots and some previews available.

The addresses are www.kde.org and www.koffice.kde.org.

For the record: KDE's X interface is very nice and is included as 
standard in Caldera's latest Linux release.
