Ok interesting. After reading the Storagereview article on SATA and NCQ and TCQ im \
thinking that 3ware controllers like other controllers would benefit somewhat from \
using some kind of queuing mode if both the host and client supports it..

Thor, all of our controllers (7000/8000/9000 series) support Tag Command Queuing from \
the controller itself. This feature is supported regardless of whether the drives \
support NCQ or not so you can use any drive type and still see the benefit or our \
queuing technology. We do plan to release a product early next year that will include \
NCQ compliancy along with the current high performance TCQ support. We do not have \
any benchmark comparisons yet as we are still waiting for availability of NCQ drives \
from the drive manufacturers. Regards,
