By default that is installed (to the best of my knowledge) in the
/usr/local/lib tree.
The basic logic of what goes where is that mandatory system stuff goes in
/usr/* and EVERYTHING else goes in /usr/local/[[*
Also, we may need to figure how to incorporate searching of packages on
FreeBSD to determine of LibTool is installed ( I believe that it is needed
to install the intl library).
