Our client is in Cupertino, Ca.  They are the first company to create an
intelligent Internet processor. With the flexibility of a general
purpose processor, and the performance and economy of a dedicated ASIC,
it is the ideal solution for applications requiring highly efficient and
fast Layer 4 - 7 processing.  They are small, have been profitable for
over a year, have excellent managers, and are growing.  Salary is around
$120,000.


Software Engineer – High Availability Software

Description and Duties
Strong software experience in high availability system design and
implementation required. Work with exciting new technology in the area
of Network Security to develop feature rich, high performance solutions.
Work with talented team of software engineers to deliver a high quality
product. In addition, the candidate must have the following qualifications:

Requirements
 + Strong embedded software applications development experience
 + Strong experience in high availability design and implementation in
   router and firewall
 + Development experience with Finite State Machines and stateful
   synchronization within HA cluster nodes is strongly desired
 + Strong TCP/IP socket programming experience
 + Strong communication skills and team player
 + Proficient with UNIX-based development tools
 + Must be able to work independently
 + BS/MS CS, 6+ years of software development experience
