Various people have asked for an overview of our current architecture.

I have made an initial attempt to summarize it on the URL listed above. 
   I am confident that there are at least a few errors and 
misunderstandings incorporated in it.

If you could please make the time to read over this view, correct it, 
and comment on it, that would be much appreciated.
