hi,

two questions:

1. Currently if a message from a client does not contain F_TYPE field, the message \
will be discarded in api_process_request() as "bad message type" error. I think it is \
up to the client what is contained in the message. We shall not force the client to \
have a F_TYPE filed in a message.

2. Shall we allow a client to send a 0-number of fields message? Currently sending \
0-number of fileds gives segment fault (which should be fixed). Sending an empty \
message does not make too much sense, but shall we allow a client to do it in case he \
needs (wants)?

thanks
-Guochun
