Noted. No need to blow up, that's why I asked before hitting cvs commit,
albeit it was tempting ;-)

#ident is no longer supported, and I also couldn't find pragma ident in
the relevant standards.

Hm, a /* $Id$ */ at the top of each file might make sense, for those of
the developers without a CVS checkout. How about that?
