OK, I had forgotten about FAI needing debmirror version 20020427. After I did

Preparing to replace debmirror 20011230-1 (using .../debmirror_20020427-1_all.deb)

debmirror started getting also the Release files. I used debmirror
from testing on my woody host.

Thanks, I had read the mkdebmirror script and noticed that it did
nothing special with the Release files, and was wondering where they
are supposed to come from. Is the older version of debmiror buggy or
what? Anyway, I'm happy now until.

Good mailing list this FAI has, and it looks like it is just what I
need.
