Hello,

I have a production linux cluster that is running with kernel 2.2.1.16.
We suffer from the problem of messages at boot:

etho: card reports no RX Buffers
eth0: card report no resources.

The eepro100.c source is taken from the source for 2.2.1.16 vanilla.

I plan to download the source from ftp://scyld.com/pub/network/eepro100.c

"eepro100.c:v1.15 5/18/2001 Donald Becker <becker@scyld.com>\n";

 replace the original source of eepro100.c with it.

and then build new kernel.

Is it the right procedure and/or do I need to do some more actions?

Can you advice me?

Thank you,

shuki
