For an hour last night syslogd wrote these messages:
> Feb 8 20:46:38 www kernel: eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0090 command
0000.
On a PII 300MHz running RedHat 5.2, 2.0.36 kernel.
The machine was completely unreachable. The ISP provided this for an answer:

My question is this: is this a known problem? If not, I hope I can provide
information to help fix it. If it is, please let me know.
