Hi everybody,

We found a bad comparison which turned out to be the real cause of the
RVM_EOFFSET problems. An updated release of the rvm package is on the
ftp site.

    ftp://ftp.coda.cs.cmu.edu/pub/rvm

RVM-1.1 is compatible with existing clients and servers.

The bug only seems to have been affecting installation of new servers,
but the fix might have cured some other more obscure problems.
