Is this possible? All the authentication and encryption documentation seems to
be geared toward 'remote' access. 

However, if the Vice server is also used for normal file access is there any
way to protect it from prying eyes - intentional, accidental or casual- apart,
that is, from file permissions as this seems to be duplicating the already
effective ACLs and authentication routines. So, we control access through Coda
itself and do not have to worry about 'normal' local file access.
