This sounds like the old bridge code is buggier than I thought. You see,
after I read the old bridge code 10 or 20 minutes, I decided to throw it
all away, so I have no idea how much bugs it still has.

Bug. A definite bug. I'm working on something prettier, the next bridge
utils version will show something prettier.
