Fullscreen would be 1280x960, problems start at roughly 1000x900 or 
something. But even at somewhat smaller window sizes, just slightly 
resizing the window causes an increase in CPU load for up to a few 
seconds. Drawing then lags behind for a while, but eventually catches up, 
and CPU load goes back to normal.
An then, when I increase the window size a little more, somewhere it 
reaches the point where it just never catches up, and eats 100% CPU 
indefinitely.
