Hi all,

we would like to limit the MTU size for ATM-CLIP transmission (MTU=2048).
We have done it by the appropriate parameter in "ifconfig".
<ifconfig> shows MTU=2048 but <atmarp -a> brings the information
sdu_max=9188.

What does sdu_max mean , how can I adjust it and what's the relationship
between MTU and sdu_max ?
Why does'nt <atmarp -a> show the MTU size as <ifconfig> does?

We use ATM 0.59, Kernel 2.2.14 and nicstar driver 0.62-2.2.X.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Peter Wurbs.
