hi,

I am using a 155 Mb/s Fore Nic with the following configuration
- my kernel ...
-> uname -a
Linux verif07 2.3.99-pre2 #6 mer mar 22 16:05:15 CET 2000 i686 unknown

- my ATM release
-> cat VERSION
0.71

- My linux distribution is Debian.
- my config is :
-> grep ATM /boot/config-2.3.99-pre2
CONFIG_ATM=y
CONFIG_ATM_CLIP=y
# CONFIG_ATM_CLIP_NO_ICMP is not set
CONFIG_ATM_LANE=m
CONFIG_ATM_MPOA=m
# ATM drivers
CONFIG_ATM_TCP=m
# CONFIG_ATM_ENI is not set
# CONFIG_ATM_ZATM is not set
# CONFIG_ATM_NICSTAR is not set
# CONFIG_ATM_AMBASSADOR is not set
# CONFIG_ATM_HORIZON is not set
# CONFIG_ATM_IA is not set
CONFIG_ATM_FORE200E=y
CONFIG_ATM_FORE200E_PCA=y
CONFIG_ATM_FORE200E_PCA_DEFAULT_FW=y
CONFIG_ATM_FORE200E_TX_RETRY=16
CONFIG_ATM_FORE200E_DEBUG=1

- my card is correctly found
-> cat /proc/iomem |grep FORE
efe00000-efffffff : FORE Systems Inc PCA-200E

my problem ?
when i use the following command as root....
/home/lacroix/tmp/usr/sbin/atmsigd -d
atmsigd:SIGD: /etc/atmsigd.conf not found. - Using defaults.
atmsigd:SIGD: Linux ATM signaling UNI 3.0 (dynamic), version 0.71 on
0.0.5
atmsigd:SIGD: Acting as USER side
bind: Operation not supported by device

any idea about that ? Probably a stupid problem in my kernel
configuration

many thanks in advance
