Thank you for your hard involvement. Basically you're just doing 
sleeping, eating, and Linux stuff. Hope you get a live. :-)

Just one tip: when I tried my "roll-your-own-gcc3.3" example, I found 
ccache (compiler cache) very helpful. Especially if you have to 
recompile because of a makeinfo bug, all the *.o-generation stuff on 
the next run will be WAY faster.
