Hello.

We are getting the same error message on an ix86 based system, but I found
this thread in ARM-archive, and decided to write here, since anyway I
am a frequent visitor here:-)

This problem occurs on a system with 2 compact flash disks (hda and hdb)
when a pcmcia flashdisk card is inserted. So, it should use ide1, but it
is still trying to use ide0. Is there an existing solution for this
(before I get to looking into ide-cs.c, the only idea of which makes me
tremble in horror:-))

Yes, we do have ide-disk in the kernel (in fact it's a standard SuSU
2.4.10-4GB kernel).

Thanks
Guennadi
