Hi,

I am having serious trouble making the serial port talk at greater
than 9600 bps on the Alpha.

I managed to get a couple of user-mode programs to work at 57600 by
setting them to 38400 and setting spd_hi with setserial. However,
this is really a very bad solution. I never had to do this on i386.

pppd is completely broken at those speeds, apparently.

Can anybody help with this?

Thanks,
John
