Hi...   
1)I have a sun unix box in another city.  I can telnet to control it, but
all the activity will be shown on the console screen about when I log in ,
and etc  May I know how to disable all the messages on the console screen.

2) I found I can't ftp to a solaris box,  when I do a ftp pc1
Connected to pc1
220 pc1 FTP server (SunOS 5.6) ready
User (pc1:(none)):sim
331 Password required for sim
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed

Why???  I am sure my password for sim is correct and I failed to access
using root account and anonymous account
