Thanks Mark.  Yes that is the result of small staff, too many hot projects and not \
enough time.  I work across z/OS, z/VM, & Linux on z.   That is not an excuse, just \
the reality.  Thanks for your help.

This might sound overly harsh, but if you're running a server offering a network \
                service, you should either
- know where the logs for that service are located
- what looks "normal" in those logs and vice versa, and
- looking at them occasionally,

or you should _not_ be running that service on that server.  It really is pretty \
important.
