When I heared a Dolby Surround amp for the first time, I
noticed, that the signal on the rear speakers is simply the
difference signal, too.

So I connected my boxes to my stereo amp like this:

    .-----------------------------.
    | | speaker |
    | amplifier | front rear |
    | outlet | L R L R |
    |-------------|---------------|
    | A - left | + |
    | ground | - - |
    | A - right | + |
    | B - left | - + |
    | ground | |
    | B - right | + - |
    `-----------------------------'

This is basically the same as the four speaker Hafler circuit,
except that the rear speakers are interchanged. This way, you
get better reverb effects.
