Hi Harm.
Your example did not work on my system. No idea why not.
The error message mentions an unexpected } at the end. What is bothering LilyPond \
here?

I would very much like to see and try your solution because I recently have struggled \
endlessly with slurs in passages with up to six voices in a single staff. Maddening.  \
