As described at the top of http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Font-selection.html#Font-selection the default font for most text output in LilyPond is New Century Schoolbook. The same section also includes examples of how to modify the font. However, you may have to combine that information with that of http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Entering-lyrics.html#Entering-lyrics http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Layout-tunings-within-contexts.html#Layout-tunings-within-contexts and http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/user/out-www/lilypond/Changing-context-default-settings.html#Changing-context-default-settings (and maybe more from Chapter 9.) I deliberately don't give you a more specific answer, since the same principles apply to all settings you can do in LilyPond so you have to learn the general ideas sooner or later anyway. /Mats lfanele@gmail.com wrote: > hi everybody! > what is the name of the default font for lilypond? i'm on os 10.4.2 and > lilypond 2.6.3. > what would be the \layout command to globally set the font-size and - > type for lyrics and mark-up (i've seen it in the manual but never > really got it to work). > as always thanks a lot for your help, > stephen > > > > _______________________________________________ > lilypond-user mailing list > lilypond-user@gnu.org > http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user -- ============================================= Mats Bengtsson Signal Processing Signals, Sensors and Systems Royal Institute of Technology SE-100 44 STOCKHOLM Sweden Phone: (+46) 8 790 8463 Fax: (+46) 8 790 7260 Email: mats.bengtsson@s3.kth.se WWW: http://www.s3.kth.se/~mabe =============================================
