Well, this morning I delete the lilypond stuff and rebuilt again;
this time there were no problems at all. Uploading 2.15.3 right
now.

*sigh*
I've checked my disk for SMART errors twice (doing a full test
both times) without finding anything... but that big google report
on hard drive failures a few years ago showed that 30% of drives
never reported any SMART warnings before dying.

I don't know? I haven't rebuilt python between then and now, so
here's what both runs had:

gperciva@gperciva-desktop:/main/src/gub$
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HOME/vc/gub/target/linux-x86/root/usr/lib ldd
target/linux-x86/root/usr/bin/python
	linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0x009cd000)
	libpython2.4.so.1.0 =>
/main/src/gub/target/linux-x86/root/usr/bin/../lib/libpython2.4.so.1.0
(0x00110000)
	libpthread.so.0 => /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libpthread.so.0
(0x00a6e000)
	libdl.so.2 => /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libdl.so.2 (0x00c72000)
	libutil.so.1 => /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libutil.so.1
(0x0057b000)
	libstdc++.so.6 =>
