Well, this morning I delete the lilypond stuff and rebuilt again;
this time there were no problems at all. Uploading 2.15.3 right
now.
*sigh*
I've checked my disk for SMART errors twice (doing a full test
both times) without finding anything... but that big google report
on hard drive failures a few years ago showed that 30% of drives
never reported any SMART warnings before dying.
