When I type licq from the command line, I get the followng error:

[WRN] Licq: Ignoring stale Lockfile (pid 1278)
[ERR] Unable to load plugin (qt-gui): undefinded symbol:
event__140MultiLineEditP6OEvent.

I am very, very, very new to linux, so any help would be great.
