Did you try 'urpmq -y ldap' (or try searching in the software manager)?

Of course, you can also use 'drakauth' to configure LDAP authentication,
or do it during installation (at the root password screen, click the
advanced button), or set up machines for LDAP authentication via
kickstart-style installations (by customising the auto_inst.cfg.pl file
you will find in /root/drakx after installation).

Technically, it's not a library, but a plugin for the pam library, which
is why it does not have a "lib" prefix under Mandrake, but instead is
called pam_ldap.
