Hi,

we are using iPlanet 5.1 on Win2000 and Solaris 8. The following

ldapsearch -b "ou=info,o=myorg.de" -D "cn=Directory Manager" -h server -p
389 -F ": " -w pass "description=xyz*" aci infotext description infoid
creatorsname createtimestamp modifiersname modifierstimestamp >
AktInfo.ldif

produces on Win2k an well formed LDIF-File that can be imported into another
iPlanet Server. The same statement running on Solaris 8 produces a malformed
LDIF-File with lines of far more than 72 characters (infotext contains far
more than 72 characters).

The iplanet server is always running on Solaris8.

Does anybody know how to get a wellformed LDIF-file on Solaris?

Best regards,
Thomas.
