For this issue, I'm not sure how to proceed. Possibly the "link against both
libs" is indeed the best solution.
OMG! Are you talking about dlopen? or just ... doesn't matter... I have serious doubts about this way... libpython is a plain C library, so some symbols definitely will be clashed being loaded into a single process (address space) -- just because not all functions in 2 and 3 have different signatures...
or what is your idea, if I understood you incorrectly...??
