Summary: add a multi-window layout as an alternative to the
                    tabbed layout
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: flavio@stanchina.net

Version: 3.3.2 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.4-athlon

I spend most of my time writing code in Visual Studio at work, and I much
prefer the multi-window layout to the tabbed layout of documents. So far, I
haven't found an editor on Linux that can have such a layout as an option. Kate
and KDevelop are my favorite editors, so that's where I would like to have that
option.

Any chance of seeing that in the future?
