           Summary: auto reformat code indentation
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: gyoder@stny.rr.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

In vim, I can take some code which has not been properly indented, selected it
and hit '=' and the code will be reformatted to follow a standard indenting
format. There is an option to auto indent code that has been pasted from the
clipboard, but there doesn't appear to be any convenient way to apply this
formatting to code that is already in the file.
