Summary: keyboard shortcuts for plugins are not saved
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: jacob.benoit.1@gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.1.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

To reproduce:
1) Configure Kate... -> Plugins -> enable QuickSwitch
2) Configure keyboard shortcuts... -> change QuickSwitch shortcut
3) check, it works
4) quit Kate, launch Kate again
5) the QuickSwitch shortcut is back to default, the change hasn't been saved

Now this isn't specific to QuickSwitch, I could also reproduce it with the
TextFilter plugin.

But it seems to be specific to plugins. Keyboard shortcuts for base Kate
features do work, they are correctly saved.

I don't know if this is Kate-specific as I don't know of other KDE applications
having a similar plugin system. Since this keyboard config system is from
kdelibs and this kdelibs stuff has had similar bugs in the past, it might be a
kdelibs bug.

Just FYI, I have configured Kate to automatically save the session on exit. The
bug happens both with anonymous session and with a saved session.
