50% of this is a wontfix because there are KTextEditor plugins and Kate plugins. This makes a difference \
because the KTextEditor plugins are also available in KWrite, Kile, Kdevelop or Quanta (or any other app \
using the embedded kate editor component). I agree though about the "plugins vs. extensions" part. \
