           Summary: kate has plugins and extensions - it should be no
                    difference to user
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: malinowskirafal wp pl

Version:            (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

In kate:

1. go to Settings->Configure kate
2. look for 'Plugins'
3. look for 'Editor' -> 'Extensions'

So kate has:
- plugins
- editor->extensions->plugins
- editor->extensions->scripts

I think that there should be only one category, addons or something. For me it is very unclear why there \
are 3 places for something that is (at least for me) in general the same. \
