           Summary: provide navigational back/forward feature
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: bluedzins wp pl

Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Possible scenario: 1000-lines file, you are in the middle of it, "somewhere", you \
press ctrl+end, you add some text, and wait, it would be good to see the text you \
were just looking at.

Without it (currently) you have to scan all file manually.

With this feature you would click several times "back", and voila, you are where you \
were before.

Note: there are reports about feature but they deal with multi-document back feature.

a) it could be separate
a.1) get me to the previous document
a.2) get me to the place I was before in _this_ document

b) it could be integrated (only if both will be implemented)
b.1) get me to the place I was, no matter where
