Summary: Inputted text to the kate window isn't forwared to the
                    main widget
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: joonas.koivunen gmail com

Version: 3.0.3 (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-16-generic

How to recreate:
---------------------
1. open kate
2. open a file in kate
3. switch to another window (no matter how, alt+tab, clicking)
4. switch back to kate by clicking window bar or alt+tab
5. start typing
6. notice that the typing isn't going anywhere and the document list or file browser \
on the left has received your typing

How it should be:
---------------------
Focus should be given to the editorwidget after window has been raised. This is very \
frustraiting for the user if you happen to type a lot without really staring at the \
monitor all the time :)

Similar to bug 161299 (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161299) for kopete.
