Summary: Copy command from one instance to another is forgotten
if source instance is closed before paste
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kwrite
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: mihaibasa yahoo co uk

Version: 4.5.8 (using KDE 3.5.8, Debian Package 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-3 \
                (lenny/sid))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-3-686

Hello,

This bug is completely reproducible on my system:

1. Open text file A
2. Open text file B in another instance (double-click in konqueror, say)
3. Ctrl+C in A on a selection of text
4. Close A
5. Ctrl+V in B: nothing happens.

It looks like bug 68772, but I think it's different, as it only appears if step 4 \
above is performed. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68772

This might be caused by another KDE subsystem - I hope you can forward it on if it is \
incorrectly assigned.

Thank you!
