I installed kdelibs r745252 and kdebase r745416 and tested scim and uim input methods \
with different Qt immodule plugins (scim-qtimm, scim-bridge and uim-qtimmodule). \
KWrite draws pre-edit and accepts Japanese input (I'm grateful for that) but there \
are still various problems.
- Only the first segment of multi-segment pre-edit is highlighted. (scim-anthy + \
scim-qtimm)
- Committed string is duplicated. (scim-bridge)
- New text is inserted *before* previously typed one. (uim, scim-bridge)
There might be some bugs in input methods but they work fine in other KDE4 apps.
I'll report more details if needed.
