Summary: Highlight region between parentheses when cursor is in
it
Product: kate
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
ReportedBy: john nurfuerspam de
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu PackagesUbuntu Packages
It would be a nice feature, especially for languages like Scheme, to have the \
following feature:
Whenever the cursor is located between parentheses, brackets etc. this region has a \
different background color. This way you could easily see which function you are in, \
and if there is a parenthesis missing.
Essentially, this is very similar to bracket highlighting, but I think the whole \
REGION should be highlighted. _______________________________________________
