Hello,

I've started using Actionscript 3.0/Flex 2 which will be the framework
to Flash 9 when it comes out. Since this version of Actionscript comes
with an open SDK, I wanted to make an Actionscript 3.0/Flex 2 IDE for
KDevelop. I think all I need to do is define the highlighting schema,
register the file types, and bundle in the the Flex 2 SDK/compiler
(command line bins).

Is there anything else that goes into defining a language in KDE? Once
I have completely defined the language, what's the best way to go
about creating a Kdevelop IDE? Can you recommend some reading that
might make the learning process a little quicker? I have never done
any KDE development before, but I would like to be able to contribute
anything worthwhile that comes out of this.

Best regards
...aaron
