Summary: do not add tabs on empty line while indenting
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: part
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: somekool somekool net

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.4, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6-r1, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-justbudget

One feature I like very much with kate/quanta/etc. is how I can easily change spaces \
into tabs. I just select a block of text, shift-tab once and retab. its all magically \
changed. I love it.

there is one thing I'd wish though. empty lines should not get a tab added. they \
should stay empty as there is nothing to indent.

thanks
