Summary: "Settings => Show path" menu item's behavior is not
                    intuitive
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kwrite
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: greg.martyn gmail com

Version: KDE4 SVN (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.0 20060304 (Red Hat 4.1.0-3)
OS: Linux

By default, there is an unchecked menu item under settings called "Show Path". When \
clicked, the menu item becomes checked but reads "Hide Path", as if to indicate that \
a 'hide path' option is enabled.

The same applies to all the menu items where the first word is "Show".

I would expect it to work like the Tools => Read only option, where all that happens \
when the user clicks the entry is that it becomes checked.
