Finding sessions is implemented using dnssd aka Zeroconf. Inviting others
via IM or email is on the todo list. More on that once I have finished
those specifications.

I redesigned the internal MateEdit API so that it should be fairly easy to
integrate this into Kate. It basically functions as a black box that
controls the collaborative side of things. Things like highlighting and
user display need to be handled by the actual editor with input being
provided by the MateEdit component.
However I don't see it fit for inclusion just yet, as it needs to be
improved to also handle redo operations, the algorithm implementation must
be validated (dynamic and static tests) and security aspects need to be
carefully considered and acted upon.
