A few more details:
- I forgot to tell that this is Kate of trunk
- it seems that a similar problem appears when pasting an entire line with 
Ctrl+V
- sometimes a few lines are not re-displayed and remain at their old position, 
moving lines by lines, re-display the lines one-by-one, giving the real ones 
at the real position.
- moving the cursor out of screen and going back to the former line makes it 
work again too.
