When dragging the mouse down the screen to select multiple pages of text, KWrite does not scroll down *unless* the mouse pointer is moved in horizontal direction while dragging. When you don't move the mouse pointer but keep it still at the bottom edge of the screen, KWrite does not scroll at all.

KWrite should behave the same as Kate does: Continuously scroll towards the mouse when the mouse pointer is outside the text area.
